At the cider barn it’s not all work, work, work (although it can feel like it some days!).

Jonas and myself have been talking about making focaccia at the barn open days (next open day is the 21st July 12-9pm). So I thought why not have a go at the end of the day and see how it turns out.

Have to say the results were spectacular!

To make focaccia in the pizza oven you have to lower the temperature a bit and keep turning to stop it burning but the resultant flavour, infused with the lovely woodsmoke is breathtaking.

The rosemary bush needed a prune so it was nice to put it to some use ;).

All served up with some oven roasted tomatoes, sausages and a glass of Summer Funshine.

CHEERS!
